Elizabeth Jeanty is a resident of Florida Senate District 34, an entrepreneur, community leader, media personality, historian, and candidate for the Florida State Senate. With more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, business development, and civic engagement, she has dedicated her career to empowering communities through education, advocacy, and service.

A Miami-Dade County resident for over 27 years, Elizabeth was born in the Dominican Republic to Haitian parents. A background that has given her a lived understanding of the Haitian, Latina, and Black communities that make up much of District 34. Fluent in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and French, she has built her life's work around bridging cultures, preserving history, and creating opportunity for the many communities she calls her own, and has become a trusted voice across South Florida's diverse neighborhoods.

Elizabeth is the Executive Director and Chairwoman of the Haitian American Historical Society (HAHS), where she leads initiatives dedicated to preserving and promoting the contributions of Haitians to American history. Under her leadership, HAHS has educated thousands about the legacy of the Chasseurs-Volontaires de Saint-Domingue — the more than 550 freemen of color who fought alongside American forces during the Revolutionary War — whose sacrifices are commemorated through the annual Haitian Monument events in Savannah, Georgia.

She is also the host of The Power of Women Show on WLQY 1320 AM in Miami, where she educates and engages the community on issues related to history, civic participation, economic opportunity, leadership, and community empowerment. As the founder of Eliza Consulting Agency LLC and a licensed Florida real estate professional, she has helped individuals, families, and entrepreneurs across every background navigate business, housing, and financial opportunities, always advocating for economic mobility and self-sufficiency.

As a candidate for the Florida State Senate, District 34, Elizabeth's platform is centered on housing affordability, insurance costs, infrastructure and flood resilience, and responsible local governance. The issues most directly shaping daily life for District 34 families, regardless of background. She believes leadership is not simply holding a title; it is showing up, listening, educating, and delivering meaningful results for every resident she serves.

Elizabeth's story reflects the full identity of the community she seeks to represent. She carries the shared experience of Haitian, Latina, and Black families across the district. The same challenges of building wealth, owning a home, and securing a future for the next generation. She believes that preserving history and expanding opportunity is not the work of one community alone, but a shared responsibility that unites every family calling this district home. Her leadership is rooted in that shared struggle and shared possibility, building bridges rather than drawing lines, and delivering results for all.
